One of the most frequent questions I get from my client’s family is “How as a parent, caregiver, family member can I help improve the communication skills of my love one? The answer is not an easy one, as I can’t imagine how to teach (in a few minutes) years of experience, training, and education in the area of communication disorder. However, the constant challenge of this questions has encouraged me to create and to provide hand-over-hand strategies and materials that parents, teachers, and family members can implement and use to help their love one achieve success and generalization. Family’s involvement is important as research shows that treatment across settings is extremely beneficial to achieve generalization and success.

Here are some strategies and materials I have created for parents, teachers, and clients to use. I have divided these by areas of need for easier access.
